Mission & Vision

Transit Now Tampa Bay's mission is to improve and increase public transit infrastructure, mode options, and programs so we can finally meet the transportation needs of residents and all riders regardless of economic class, ability, or background and Tampa Bay truly thrives.

Transit Now Tampa Bay’s vision is a world-class public transit system throughout the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County, and Tampa Bay to connect nearby regions with fixed routes as the backbone of the system, 10 minute or less frequency for popular routes, every stop accessible with basics like a bench or shade, low or free fares, and riders who love it.

Initiatives

Transit Now Tampa Bay is a grassroots coalition working to improve public transit. We advocate for initiatives like fare-free bus routes, increased milage rates, and any way to increase public transit funding. As a community, we deserve a modern, connected, and affordable transportation system for everyone.
